Dziennik praktyk: your internship logbook

A dziennik praktyk is a daily or weekly record of completed tasks, confirmed by your opiekun praktyk (internship supervisor). We prepare the entries using your university’s template, based on what you did. They stay consistent with your internship programme and report.

How to fill in a dziennik praktyk: entries, dates and signatures

A dziennik praktyk is the running record of your internship: usually a table with the date, the hours and a short description of the tasks for each day or week, signed by your workplace supervisor. Unlike the report, it is not meant to analyse anything. Its job is to show, entry by entry, that the internship took place and covered what the programme required.

Most problems with logbooks come from repetition. Twenty entries reading “office work” or “getting to know the company” tell the opiekun praktyk nothing, and some ask students to redo them. A good entry names a task and its outcome: which document you prepared, which process you observed, which tool you used.

We prepare the entries from your own list of tasks and dates, spread across the period in the agreement, with days you did not work left out. Each entry is linked to a point in the internship programme, which makes the opiekun praktyk’s check quicker. The language follows your template, most often Polish, even if your notes are in Ukrainian.

A note in your phone at the end of each day makes the logbook far more accurate, because a month later it is hard to remember which task happened on which date. The price depends on the number of days and how much detail the template asks for.

What is included

  • Entries for each day or week of the internship
  • Consistency with the tasks in the internship programme
  • Format and language following your university’s template
  • Consistency with the dates in the porozumienie (internship agreement)
  • Space for your opiekun praktyk’s signatures
  • Entries consistent with your internship report

Who it is for

  • Your internship is under way, but you are not keeping a logbook
  • The department template requires daily entries
  • You have entries, but they are in Ukrainian or in draft form
  • You are preparing your report and want it to match the logbook

How we work

Step 1

Template and dates

Send the logbook template, internship dates and programme.

Step 2

Your tasks

Briefly describe what you did during the internship; a list is fine.

Step 3

Finished logbook

You get the document for your opiekun praktyk to sign; you collect the signatures yourself. Entries are specific: date, task, result.

Questions and answers

Can the logbook be prepared after the internship?

Formally, it is kept during the internship and signed by your opiekun praktyk. If you did not keep entries, we will help you organise them from your notes and calendar.

How much does the logbook cost?

It depends on the number of days and how detailed the entries are. We will give you a price in chat as soon as we see the template and dates.

What language is the logbook in?

The language your university requires, most often Polish. If the host organisation is based abroad, check the language with your opiekun praktyk.
