Help finding an internship placement

Many departments require students to find an internship placement themselves. We explain your university’s procedure, find organisations in your field and prepare outreach letters. You send the letters and make the arrangements.

How to find an internship placement in Poland as a student

Many Polish departments leave students to find their own internship placement, within rules: the organisation must match your field, it may need a supervisor with relevant qualifications, and it must agree to sign the university’s documents. Students new to a city often know the rules but not the organisations, and a generic letter sent to every address they can find rarely gets answers.

We start with your department’s requirements, then build a list of organisations in your field and city that plausibly take interns: companies, public institutions or NGOs, depending on what your programme accepts. For each one we note why it fits, so you can say so in your letter instead of writing to everyone in the same words.

The outreach letter explains who you are, what internship your programme requires, its dates and length, and what the organisation would need to sign. It helps when a host can see those obligations from the first email rather than discovering them later.

If there is no reply after a week or so, a short, polite reminder is normal, and the consultation covers how to word it. Keep a simple record of who you wrote to and when, so that you do not contact the same organisation twice.

How we work

Step 1

Requirements and preferences

Your field, city, internship dates and your department’s requirements for the organisation.

Step 2

List and texts

We find organisations and prepare the letters and CV.

Step 3

You send the letters

We go through the organisations’ replies together and move on to the documents. If an organisation agrees, we help you go straight to the porozumienie (internship agreement) so that you do not miss any deadlines.

Questions and answers

Do you guarantee an internship placement?

No. The organisation makes the decision. We help make your search systematic and your letters convincing.

Will any organisation do?

No, your department usually requires it to match your field. We check this against your university’s requirements before you start writing to organisations.

What happens once I’ve found a placement?

We prepare the documents: the porozumienie and the internship programme. We send the free list of department documents within 24 hours.
