How to make a thesis defence presentation the committee can follow

At most Polish universities the obrona opens with a short presentation of the thesis, usually lasting a few minutes, followed by questions. The slides support what you say; they are not a summary of every chapter. A committee tends to take away three things: what you studied, how you studied it and what you found. A presentation that makes those three points clear within the time limit has done its job.

We build the slides from your final thesis, not from a generic template. The aim and research questions come near the start, methods take one slide, and most of the space goes to results, shown as charts or simplified tables rather than copied straight from the thesis. Each conclusion is worded to answer an objective, which makes the link easy to show if the committee asks.

If your faculty has an official template, we use it; otherwise the design stays plain, with large type that remains readable on a projector or a shared screen. You get an editable file, so you can change the wording or add a slide yourself after rehearsing.

The presentation costs 60 €, however close your defence is. Rehearse it aloud with a timer at least once: if you run over, cut a results slide rather than speaking faster.
